does PSPUAE run on firmware 2.6?

Hi, I tried to run PSPUAE on my 2.6 PSP and it failed... I put kick130.rom in the PSPUAE folder and some games in DISKS folder but it doesn't work. The problem is my firmware? :confused:

It wouldn't run on my 2.00 firmware, even when I used the GTA loader. I downgraded to 1.50, and it works now.

The emulator itself hasn't been updated in a long, long time. It runs some titles pretty well, but you usually have to turn the sound off to get games to run at a playable speed - a shame, there's some cracking games available for the Amiga and it would excellent to be able to play games with the sound on.
