Emulators that I've tried...
------------------------------

Gameboy Advance Not fully emulated yet, can play a few games full speed.

Gameboy/Gameboy Colour Works 100% with every game I've thrown at it!

Genesis (Megadrive) Works 100% with every game I've thrown at it!

NES Works 100% with every game I've thrown at it!

Nintendo 64 Not fully emulated yet, but impressive for what it does play. (Quest64 & Mario 64 = GOOD)

SNES Works 100% with every game I've thrown at it! Some games have very minor graphical glitches.

PSX/PSOne Barely compatible with anything, the only emulator was abandoned early on R.I.P

Edit: Kramer beat me to posting the whole list of links...v_v

whats better Monkey64 or Daedalus?

there really isnt one thats "better" because both show great potential and i think that both are gonna be kept on everyones memory card:) as it is now daedalus is slightly better speed wise only because it has been resentally updated and psmonkey has not yet got around to updating his both are extreamly good and have great potential:D to single one out because the other is "better" is kind of wrong you still cant say which one is better because there not fully playable with all roms:eek: so we will just have to wait and see furture update on these emus in the future

i personally love both of them and cant really say which one is better:D

Same here, I have the no-intro version and it runs Super Mario World at a fairly fast speed, but not 100%. And Super Mario Kart is really slow. I'm running it on 2.6, does that make a difference?

yes it does, the eloader slows down some gameplay in all homebrew (i think)

Kramer
June 24th, 2006, 15:29
the eloader doesnt slow down game play it just takes up more memory and we cant take advantage of the media engine that the 1.5 snes_tyl version uses.

So on a 1.5 psp the snes emulator runs faster? That sux. I hope someone figure out another way to homebrew w/o the eloader then, or sony will finally be faithful to their users and allow homebrew on a new update. Sony is a brilliant company... but they can be SO STUPID sometimes!

SnoopKatt

Hmm I never knew that the eLoader slowed things down. If Sony allowed homebrew, then that would also allow UMD rippers, and Sony doesn't want that. If there were some crazy advanced programmers, they could make it so that applications that don't use the UMD reader would work fine. But then again, someone would find another exploit through that and somehow rip UMD's.
