Hi,
I've read thaft formatting your Memory stick to FAT will help games boot quicker, but after formatting it to FAT, it wont detect any games anymore.
No saves either. Only music.
I've done this, because Daxter is laggy in cutscenes and Crisis Core is laggy in cutscenes

to be more specific, i think its FAT32 format.

just stick the memstick into the psp and use xmb options to reformat the memstick.

what's the folder/file structure of that memstick with music? remember you got to have the files in certain locations (i.e. root of memstick, or in individual folders i.e. ms0:/ISO etc.)?

No saves?

Anyway, sounds like the memstick isn't properly formatted.

FAT doesn't support disks larger than 2.2GB. Reformat using the psp and all should be well.

i thought the file size limitation for fat32 was around 4 gb - thus the fuss about those hd and blu-ray recordings...

anyway, as we suggested format the memstick using the psp's xmb.

FAT32 maybe, but I was talking about FAT (Windows 3.1 era). OP let us know if the format worked if you ever read this!

yeah - there are many here who post/ask a question, and then there is no more participation by the OP. why bother answering, huh?
