Hi, I recently acquired a PsP from a friend because he said he couldnt get any games to work on it, after some looking into the matter I have found out it has custom firmware on it, the current version is 3.03OE-A

How can I upgrade this in order for it to run games like Tekken 6? im really unfamilliar with PSP's and whatnot.

Well, it says on Wikipedia that you need Firmware 6.10. If you want to play Tekken 6, you'll have to get rid of custom firmware, though. :/

Alright well how do I go about doing that?

On the PSP XMB, go to Settings and Network Update. It will upgrade you to the current official firmware.
