My PS3 is having problems connecting to the internet. I have a netgear router, and when I go to the internet test on ps3, it shows;
Obtain IP Address - Succeeded
Internet Connection - Succeeded
PlayStation(R)Network - Succeeded
UPnP - Not available
NAT Type - Type 2

I have enabled UPnP through the 192.168.0.1 thing, and have been reading through other forums, but none of seemed to aid me. Help me, please?

Have you tried adjusting the MTU packet size? If you're using America Online (AOL), try changing the value to 1400. The place to change it is in the WAN page in the router's control panel I believe. Tell if it works and what the number was before the change.

Please remember that this will affect traffic to not just your PS3 but to anything else that uses your router. If you start having problems visiting some sites, change it back it the value it was before or try a different number.
