Dodgy play on certain disks

I am having trouble loading certain games. Some work fine, the others load up but the graphics are faulty, no colour and flickering images.
I have replaced the dvd drive and there was no improvement.
Any ideas anyone?:confused:

have u try to play the game on a other 360 to test if the problem didn t come from the disk....?!?!?

For the two days that I've had my 360 thus far, I've come upon a similar problem maybe twice at the most.

It occured while I was playing Call of Duty 2, one of the enemy NPC's had apparently not been painted by the game. The model was there, fully animated and functional, but it was all black as though textures weren't applied. I think it was nothing more than a freak glitch.

Another thing I've noticed is that occasionally on Hitman Blood Money it'll spaz and not paint the compass directions or various animated HUD items from time to time, when it happens it's usually after some cutscene, i.e. those picture-in-picture moments.


But yeah, that's what I've observed.
