View Full Version : Ad Hoc multiplayer in Quake lagging problem - anyone help?

Hi there,

I've been having a bit of trouble with playing Quake multiplayer - everything works and loads fine on ad hoc between 2 PSPs (one with 1.5 firmware and the other with 2.6), except that the PSP joining the other's hosted game seems to lag (mainly the controls, but also the action). We've tried starting a new game on both units and the result is the same.

I've looked through the forums but I can't find any mention of this kind of issue with Quake. We've both got V2 installed.

Anyway - if anyone could let me know if this is an issue that is still present in the latest version (ie we're stuck with it for the time being), or if there's anything we can do to overcome it, I'd be dead grateful!

I've had the same issue with two 2.6 PSPs as well.
