how can i watch something on my psp. i have a mp4 file. i put into the video folder of the psp and when i go to my psp it says theres no videos. i have a 2.71. how can i watch videos on my psp help me out

At the root of your memory stick make a folder called MP_ROOT and a folder in that called 100MNV01, which is where you MP4 videos go. It's funny how videos are supposed to go in the video folder (according to the manual,) and they still haven't fixed it.

and you have to convert them to be playable on the psp. i use JMENC for mine. you can get it on dl.qj.net or you can use sony's video 9.

what file they have to be in is it mp4?

use PSP video 9, just google it. it should do everything for you.

why cant i put my videos into folders?

its really easy to put videos into the psp. all you do is make those folders and drop a mp4 video into it. just make sure you have enough space onto the psp and thats it. i wish the dam memory cards werent so expensive and small. you can buy hard drive for a psp right?

yeah, 4 gigs. no, not any mp4 is gonna play. they have to be converted at a special bitrate.
