The coolest would be downloading music and the RIAA can't find out that you're doing it.

A portal? No (Except for an java-based IRC portal). Could there be a homebrew app that would connect to the file sharing networks? Absolutely. There's already one available to download. It's called pspIRC. IRC is the biggest filesharing network in the universe. It's not very noob friendly though, you need to know several commands and channels before you can use it properly...

It's a homebrew program. Don't ask for help using IRC here, as this isn't a IRC help board. Your best best is to google for a beginner's guide...
