Psp wont load UMDs

My aunt dropped my psp and now it wont load umds, everything else works. Anyone have any ideas?

You have to see if it is a hardware problem or a software problem. If it is hardware, buy a replacement UMD drive from Divineo. If software, describe "how" it won't load.

Also, check to see if the UMD presence tab (that little black peg that when you press it down it makes the red laser come on) isn't broken off.

Where is the UMD presence tab? I found a black tab thingy not sure if its wat yur talkin bout though.

Ya i think thats the black thingy and its not broken, but it just starts to load the game and stops but the little loading circle thing at the bottom never goes away even when it stops apparently trying to load the game.

lol. what was your aunt doing with it? try nudging the lens GENTLY with something. or maybe your UMD is scratched up.

yeah it was sitting on the table and she accidentally made it fall "dropped."
