It works on LCD and OLED screens that use vertical alignment technology and in-plane-switching, which was developed by Hitachi to widen the viewing angles of a TV. Zeon's films will be sold to LCD manufacturers this year, and will only be suitable for panels over 40-inches in length.
Could solve a lot of problems, but really, how many people suffer through poor LCD color and bad viewing angles? If you do, you probably didn't pick the right TV to take home with you.
