I'm getting pretty ticked with this SBI building lark, and have gone through too many discs now.

I've been trying to make a sbiffy disc featuring a few Beats of Rage Mods, Sonic Retro and some other odd bits. The SBI's I didn't make myself worked, as did a Fenix one I did make, but all the BOR ones just reset the DC or just give me a black screen. I have no idea what I am doing wrong, as I've done everything from extracting files from the CDIs to creating the SBI's by the book (or should I say by the website, this website: http://consolevision.com/members/dchelp/index.php?Tutorials)

Don't suppose any one could figure out what I'm doung wrong, or even better, submit SBI's of the games I'm trying to make SBI's out of? Cheers.

Files I'm using:
Battletoads,
Crisis Evil,
Hyper Final Fight the last Round,
Super Methane Brothers (works),
Fenix (works),
Sonic Retro,
Beats of Rage Remix 2: ROD

BoR won't load directly within DI. You need a loader, there's a SBI of one here (http://dreamcast.dcemu.co.uk/Bor_bO.sbi.zip)

The readme:

IMR's BOR mod loader, SBI version

What you've got is a ready to go set of files for access via DreamInducer
All you need is some BOR pak files.

To get it to work:
Step 1 - put your pak files (up to 4) in the Inducer directory.
Step 2 - rename the original Bor.pak to Bo4.pak
Step 3 - pak files MUST be named Bo1.pak, Bo2.pak, Bo3.pak and Bo4.pak
Step 4 - you can name your mods on screen accordingly...

example: first mod - Megaman.
A - Name your Megaman BOR pak: Bo1.pak
B - Go to the bor folder
C - Open modn1.txt
D - Change Modname1# to Megaman# (or whatever you want to call it).

You can change the name of the first 3 mods selectable at the menu.

----------------------NOW GO PLAY YOUR BOR MODS----------------------

Enjoy!

BOR Engine - Senile Team
Mod Loader - IMR
Selfboot Version/Readme - DCDayDreamer

SBI by me, Ethoscapade

Other then what's explained I don't know how to use it.

Ooh yeah, I had a look at that tool but was put off when it said you can only use 4 pak's (one of these mods uses 4, and another uses 2). Explains why they were not working though.

That BoR Loader will only work with BoR mods that use the original BoR, not OpenBoR....

I will try to put up a simple mod loader soon...
