does eloader work with an american GTA? I have an american PSP and a american GTA. I went to target and I asked them for the ULES-0151 non pached GTA. The manager said that version is only sold in UK. Can someone please help.

the #'s debate led to nothing. Check the screenshots on the back of the game and look for the copyright date of 2005 and NOT 2006.

You can identify whether you have the correct version of GTA by simply using the spine of the UMD case.

The following are for the EU/UK versions of the game:

GTA: LCS (Pre 2.6 version):
ULES-00151#

GTA: LCS (Patched 2.6 Version):
ULES-00151#2

As you can tell, the actual ULES numbers only vary by the added "2" on the end of the code. However, the serial number which you can find underneath the ULES number on the spine of the UMD case. Another slight variation that is also on the spine of the UMD case. The18 logo in a red circle is present in the pre 2.6 version, but in the patched 2.6 game the 18 red circle logo isn't present on the spine.



It appears that the serial numbers differ country by country, so please go by the ULES/ULUS codes only!

It has been confirmed that North American GTA versions with "ULUS 10041" aren't patched, so I can guess that any other version number would be a patched version and wouldn't run the eLoader or any other form of homebrew.

It has also been confirmed that there are 2 versions of "ULUS 10041".

ULUS 10041 Patched - Contails UPDL 010050 on the UMD.
ULUS 10041 Unpatched - Contains UPDL 0048501A 5, plus IFPI L332 in very small letters.


In fact, ULUS 10041 Unpatched, and Patched UMDs look exactly the same... Only the small codes are different.

Would it just be similar with the code and then #2 instead of just the # at the end like the American one you showed?
