Hello Everyone.

First of all, I was wondering why there wasn't a "porting ideas" section here in the NDS forum like there is on the PSP forum: http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=108

Secondly, I was wondering if anyone is working on an emulator that will allow running of old Sierra adventure games using the SCI engine on the Nintendo DS, the point & click nature of the SCI engine (as opposed to the AGI engine) would fit nicely with the touchscreen of the NDS.

A possible solution might be to port over the freeSCI project at: http://freesci.linuxgames.com/

By the way, to all Sierra adventure fans, there is another project, actually it's been out for quite some time, called GBAGI which allows you to play AGI games on the GBA (and also on the NDS), sadly it hasn't been upgraded for the NDS, I've written to the author and suggested it, think about it, the keyboard can be displayed on the lower screen, so that you can type using the touch screen, and it will always be visible, no need to hit a certain button to bring it up.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Can any developer step up and comment regarding whether or not such a project is technically possible on the DS or are there issues that we are not aware of?
