I mean, is one better than the other, in terms of speed and/or compatibility?

Thanks in advance.

I think SD is a bit faster, but theres more compaqtibility with CF

Yeah, it's even.

SD-Speed and more expensive. Smaller.
CF-Compatibility and less expensive. Larger.

hey, on the topic of compatibility; i remember seeing a chart that showed the compatibility between all the diffrent carts. anyone got the link?

if not, are there any other ways to see the compatibilty before i buy?

m3wiki.com

You'll find everything that you may want to know about the M3 Adapter here.

Personally, I think the compatibility drop between CF and SD is too little to care about when you take into account how much bigger the CF version of the adapter is.

Definitely go with the SD, I say.

Depends. Which card do you have one of? SD or CF? Do you CARE if one's bigger than the other? If not, go with CF. Cheaper and more compatible, I always say.

on the complatibility charts there alot of the games are chaded green (suposedly working) yet in the compat column there isnt CF or SD.... so does it not work with either? or both?

and for the ones that have just CF or SD does that mean it absolutaly wont work if i buy the other?

I think so. For now. Go with whichever you like.

I was sent a defective M3 from canada...Gotta send it back for a new one....

i still dont get how to read the chart...

what does it mean when a rom is shaded green but there isnt anything in the compat (compatibility) column?

If it is shaded green it means it works with out any problems. It doesn't matter what the compat column says. On one of the roms (Warioware Touched) it said compat: CF, but the rom runs perfectly fine on my SD.
