Amstrad Emu for Dreamcast WIP news and Screenshots

JMD has given me some great news and screenshots of his latest project which is an Amstrad CPC emulator for the Dreamcast Console, heres the status of the project so far:[br][br] current status : [br][br]work : [br]- CPC emulation [br]- Keyboard support (with a virtual KB + real kb) + dsk file support (with GUI) [br]- sound (but I'm like it so much :/) [br]- most of the GUI [br][br]To do : [br]- screen resize (to zoom the emulation screen for some games) [br]- list the cpc dsk file to help the game launch [br]- map kb with UK, German and spanish rom (only french now) [br]- zip support [br][br]Check out the excellent screenshots and full info at the Dream-CPC page. i like the old amstrad, this is good to see someone doing an emulator for it at last, now we just need more work on the bbc one aswell ;)

That should be good as my Amstrad CPC464 broke and i have 200+ games for it taking up room, here i come eBay.

yes.

After a break of few weeks, I work again on the emu (Thanks to ron and all the MadriDC to push me to do ;))

I add since last post :
- Screen re-size (to zoom screen on some games)
- Zip support
- Auto run games : select the Amstrad file in a list and it will autorun in the emu
- Completly remade the virtual KB : now it don't stop the emulation.

But it still to do :
- many bugs to correct
- map KB and roms for UK, Germans and spanish CPC
- manage 2 pads for 2 Amstrad Joysticks
- make it sound better

As always, it progress slowly but fine :)

2 bug still remain :
- random crash in render code
- the sound delay

Ask for help to Quzar ....

Everything else isn't perfect but is ok ;)

would disabling the sound sort out the other problem ?

i helped him and was able to help him to fix one problem. i also gave him pointers as to the sound problem, but I dont know if he solved it yet.
