hi guys..i was just wondering some of the clips on youtube.com..shows a psp starting up and blood slaters all over the screen ..wth..how and where can i get that..i`m on 2.6

Just remember this will be flashing your psp and you could be one of those unlucky one's that bricks your psp in the process. If your going to take that risk why not take it with the downgrader since your 2.6 right now. Really though I say just enjoy all the emu's under 2.6 that you can and don't mess with your flash memory.

"I'm not 100% sure on this one, but I believe the MAX gameboot.pmf size is 1mb. Please avoid flashing gameboots that are any larger. If you flash anything larger than 1 mb, you may end up with a brick."


Ok this is pure speculation on my part but I believe I read this somewhere. Aside from if the gameboot is to large if it is to small you can have a residual left over piece of the previous gameboot. What I am saying is this if the stock gameboot is 1mb and you replace it with a gameboot or lesser size say 800kb you can have a 200kb left over piece of the previous gameboot. I believe this may have been what caused many "partial bricks". This is still a somewhat new process so just be careful.

djwirtz if u downgrade to 1.5 the custom fw has recovery mode which unbricks ur psp for minor things like flashin fonts and such, thats sayin if u could downgrade as i don't know what motherboard u have

YOU CAN'T ACCESS THE FLASH ON 2.60. I can't believe that no one has told him that yet! Don't even attempt to flash your 2.6!

what are you talking about how do you think the 2.5/2.6 downgrader works and there actually is a gameboot flasher for 2.6
