The best DS game ever is...

Mario Kart DS is the best DS game of all time according to ONM readers.

The plumber's handheld racer beat competition from The Legend Of Zelda: Spirit Tracks and Pokémon Platinum to come out on top in ONM's top 50.

ONM readers were asked to vote for their favourite games of all time to mark five years of DS in the UK. The handheld was released in the UK five years ago on Thursday and the ONM website has been counting down the top 50 all week in a series of special features.

Clearly for me it's GTA CW.
Best technical performance, richest gameplay, best UI and ergonomy, best non-multiplayer-oriented WFC.

It only lacks of online multiplayer, but the GTA series only achieved multiplayer (officially) in its last iteration on "nextgen consoles". You can't ask too much of a so called "powerless" dual-screen handheld console...

mario kart was cool, but there's many better games on the DS. castlevanias, zeldas, gta as mentioned above, new super mario bros, yoshi's island 2, FF12 revenant wings and many more were better games that mario kart.
