Mods of Original PSP Games

Sorry if this question doesn't belong in this section of the forum. There are so many sections, I figured this one was my best chance.

Is there a way to make mods of original PSP games? I think that you can dump a game onto a memory stick and modify the dump, but that probably involves ISOs with questionable legalities.
I'd like to do stuff like modify the Star Wars Battlefront 2 PSP game by adding PC content to it and whatnot. Like I asked right up there, would modifying official PSP games be possible without doing anything illegal?

Hey if you can buy the source for the games i am sure you could mod them and it would be 100% legal. But letme warn you this is going to cost you pretty penny. ;)

In other words no it is not possible to add onto a psp commercial game.

Heh... Yeah, fair enough. I wish PSP games were like PC games where you could modify them as you pleased (if the creators made it possible, which they usually do for PC games).
