I noticed this you tube video but there is no links or tutorials on how to do this. I have searched everywhere and the closest Ive found was a Russian site with a file labeled "dcl_bios_and_flash.rar", but I cant figure out what the hell they are talking about. Can anyone break it down for me? Thanks allot!

I think the website 'Blue Swirl' has something? Though I don't know so much about it.

You can't. There is a language barrier between the people who did that and some that have seen it/propagated it in english. It requires that you add in a separate bios chip. The bios in the DC is not flashable in a retail unit.

What vampdude was talking about was the regionchanger, which works by unlocking the read-only section of the flash storage.

yeah not looking for the region changer, though thanks vampdude for trying though not very thorough .... so do you have any links or tutorials? Do you know where to find the chip? Is there a better site to talk about questions like these? I know it cant be any harder than overclocking a Dreamcast and that isn't impossible. Do you have any positive information?

Right on man thanks. So can I do the mod without the switch?

I think no, because you need boot special programm on original BIOS, after that swith to second chip and flash alternative BIOS

Google it, there will be many results.

I've found switches on eBay (for my unfinished projects), firstly Googled.
