Hello all,

Just figured Id pop by and let you all know about a game that Ive been working on,

Its a remake of Shadowgate, for the PSP written in both C and Lua. Attached is a screenshot, of the first room that you go to.

The game is going to try to be a faithful remake of the original Shadowgate, but is being designed for PSP from the ground up, the game is also going to have some differences when it comes to how the gameplay is. Eitherway, enjoy the screen and give feedback if you want!

Whoah, one of my favourite NES-titles! Loved the soundtrack a lot too :D

Can't wait for this one!

this game is very fun. i beat it every time i play it. cant wait to play your revamped version.

thanks for the feedback, I will be adding some more things to the game like more rooms and such.

i will be redoing the following games in the same style...

The Uninvited
Deja Vu: The Nightmare Comes True

and I may also redo

Deja Vu 2: Lost In Las Vegas.

Btw, my girlfriend is doing the graphics for the game. so lemme know what you think?

Kinda flash game...

The original is great anyway.

the game isnt a flash game, but the graphics are being done in flash. Thats why they have that 'flash' look to them.

hello all again, figured id throw another screen to you guys, as well as a screen of the original Shadowgate so you can really see how the graphical upgrade will be.

edit: please note that these screen are just in beta form. they will most likely change before the game gets released.

I LOVED Shadowgate, I loaded it up and ran through it several times. Goodluck, I can't wait!!!

UPDATE:

Been working on the game engine to basically run the MacVenture style games (no its not an emulator or interpreter, its all my own) and its about 2/3 completed. Look for a release soon, of the engine and of ShadowGate.
