Grasshopper Manufacture boss Goichi 'Suda51' Suda has told CVG that motion control has a "big future" - and that Project Natal offers "great potential" for games designers.

Speaking in our exclusive new interview, the No More Heroes creator said that "changes" to motion controllers in future had the potential to widen gaming's audience even further than Nintendo had achieved to date.

"Changes to motion control will have the potential to extend [gaming] to an even wider market at some point," he said. "There's the possibility that it will do that in the future. It has a big future."

When we asked what his thoughts were on Project Natal, he replied:

"I believe that every game designer is looking for something new all the time. So if there's new control systems that gives designers the opportunity to create something different which has never been done before, it's great for us.

"Of course I am interested in doing that. Natal offers us as game designers great potential to create different type of game."

Suda51's first ever sequel, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, will be released next month on Wii in the UK. The title's enjoyed some sparkling reviews - including a 95/100 from Destructoid and top marks from The Onion.
