Reports are suggesting that Zynga could be considering removing its games from Facebook as it establishes its own social gaming space. The speculation comes in the wake of what many are sighting as a breakdown in relations between the world's biggest social network and the sometimes controversial developer behind Farmville and Mafia Wars.
According to TechCrunch, it has received and verified an email from an anonymous source that claims that, thanks in part to Facebook's enforcing of the Facebook Credits system, Zynga is ready to launch Zynga Live. Apparently Zynga CEO Mark Pincus confirmed in a meeting that the forthcoming service would take the form of a social gaming network.
According to the email: "Facebook and Zynga has been negotiating on Facebook Credits and the talks turned for the worst. In the negotiation process, Facebook shut off Zynga’s feeds and threatened to shut down games. Zynga in the process threatened to completely leave Facebook and prepared to do so in the previous upcoming weeks".

The relationship the two companies share is far from symbiotic, despite the fact that both have a great deal to gain through cooperation. Aside from Facebook Credits, there's been the controversy of what some claimed was dishonest advertising, and Zynga's move to make Farmville playable outside of Facebook.
