psp greatest hits

i have a version 1.5 psp, will the psp greatest hits like twisted metal umd work on my psp without having to upgrade because the regular twisted metal game did, but because this is a greatest hits did they make it so that only newer version firmwares can play it? i wanna be able to play it without any homebrew

i dont think they would require anything higher than 2.6 which can be played through devhook
