After a tumultuous fall-out, the Farmville and Mafia Wars team rebuild bridges and establish a 'five year strategic relationship' based around expanded Zynga use of Facebook credits
Facebook and Zynga have entered into a “five-year strategic relationship” that will see an expanded use of Facebook Credits in Zynga games.
The move comes after a turbulent few weeks in the relationship between the two parties. Zynga, as one of several Facebook games studios upset with recent alterations to Facebook notifications and in-game transactions commission, threatened to pull all of their titles from the site.

It was believed that this threat was met by Facebook in kind, the firm threatening expulsion for all Zynga’s titles and a company insider calling Zynga “a bad actor, which is putting profits before its users.”
It seems that Zynga have now back-tracked on any ill-will, however. Of the new deal, Zynga founder and CEO Mark Pincus said he was pleased.
"We are excited about Facebook's long-term commitment to social gaming and Zynga, and look forward to working with them and other platform providers to bring the best social gaming experience to users worldwide,” he added.
