yes i have read the stickied faq...
i have a blue ds, and i wanted to make sure that those work with the passme systems or whatever... also i dont know which one to buy...

first off should i buy one with sd/mini sd/or compact flash memory? (price is an issue, but so is speed...i dont want lagging)

next i was thinking of either buying a supercard/superkey bundle
http://216.119.88.100/s/scardgb/buynow/buy1now.php

or an m3/passkey 2 bundle
http://216.119.88.100/s/scardgb/buynow/buy1now.php

ive also seen the g6's but those dont look like they wouldn't have enough memory for me. which one should i get, and are there any that wont stick out of my ds to much? i only want to spend around 100 dollars, memory card included.

thanks...

edit- also what about this one... it seems to be an all in one kind thing

M3 miniSD, 1GB minSD card, Passcard 3 (http://www.realhotstuff.com/mini-passcard-sandisk-minisd-p-96.html)

Same as above with an SD card reader (http://www.realhotstuff.com/mini-passcard-sandisk-minisd-minisdmmc-reader-p-94.html)

You might be able to find some Supercard bundles for less. Finding an M3 bundle with a Passcard and memory card for around $100 may not happen.

thanks bro! i think i may end up getting that because i read that the mini sd's have batterys so it takes less time to boot up... also i cant decide whether or not i want to flash it with a passkey or not...

Flashing is a very viable option. It's been around for quite a while now so it's a safer thing than it used to be, if it ever really was dangerous so long as it's done properly. I don't know if I'll ever do it, though. I just don't like the idea of altering my DS's firmware. Yes, you can undo the flash, and you can even use that stealth flash thing, but something about it just feels wrong to me. It's probably because I have a Lite, I just don't want to disturb anything on it :)

Here's the flashing tutorial sticky: http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=27420

Stealth Flash flashes your DS but only runs when you have a flashcart in the GBA slot. So if you have a GBA game or the dust cover in your DS it will boot up like you haven't flashed it.

And there is a file that you can run to undo the flash if you want. It restores the DS's firmware to normal.

If you are going to flash it just make sure your using a good flashme file.

You don't have to flash your DS Lite to get the M3 or G6 or MMD to work do you? I really don't want to flash it, but I really want to burn my Max Media Player...

Poko's right, you don't have to flash it, but you'll need a passme device. You'll need a Passcard or something similar if you plan on running DS backups and homebrew. Just check this (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=27418) if you're not sure, it's the FAQ at the top of this section.

Edit: While I don't advise breathing the fumes, you may be on to something with burning that MMP.
