Undiluted Platinum Mod Chip

I have some quuestiiioonss:

I can have 2.80 and a modded version (Like custom animations and icons and stuff) of 1.50?

I heard that newer firmware versions/games might check for a mod chip and disable WiFi gaming or internet browsing, whatever. Is this true?

Are there ANY trustworthy companies that'll install a modchip for less than 80 dollars USD?

im pretty sure u can send in ur psp to the ppl that u buy the modchip from, and theyll do it, but it costs a lot. i think so, im not sure. but trust me, its not as hard as it sounds. if u know how to solder, itll be easy, if not, just go to radio shack or some place that sells solder stuff and ask them how to solder, and your set. and where did u hear about the checking for a modchip thing???
