Best E3 attendance record for several years, 2011 dates set.
With E3 2010 officially closing its doors yesterday, it has been confirmed that a total of 45,600 attendees poured through its doors over the course of three days – up by around 5,000 on E3 2009.
It has also been revealed that next year’s event will take place between June 7th-9th and will once again take place at the LA Convention Center.

“E3 Expo is the global stage for the interactive entertainment industry, and the 2010 show was reflective of our innovation, growth and vitality,” ESA president and CEO Michael D. Gallagher stated.
“We are thrilled by the positive news generated by this year's show, and we are looking forward to building on this great momentum for 2011.”
Amongst those heaping praise on the vent was Nintendo America boss Reggie Fils-Aime:
“My expectations for the E3 Expo are always high, and this year the show more than met them. The E3 Expo is the premiere global launch pad for the video game industry – it's THE place for the industry to show off the future of gaming to a worldwide audience. We're proud to be a part of it.”
