Some great news from the GP32 Extreme Forums (http://www.gp32x.com/board/index.php?showtopic=8267) (The best Gamepark 32 site in the world) has come from the author of SpeccyalK a great Spectrum emulator for the GP32. He mentions porting his emu to the Dreamcast, heres the forum post:[br][br] Your dreams may soon become reality because it appears that I have bought a chatboard [br][br]But before I add support for it, I'd like to finish the DC port (going very well, the options screen and the file browser are already working) ...[br][br]_tyrell_[br][br]http://www.speccyal.be [br][br]We wish him the best of luck :)

Cool to see that some peoples reported my port here

Here's the current emulator status :

File browser : completed
Options screen : completed
Z80 Cpu core : completed
48k emulation : completed
128k emulation : completed
Virtual keyboard : completed
Custom keys : implemented but not tested yet
File loading routines : currently tested (SNA are working)
Sound : not done yet (will include 128k sound as well)
Rendering : complete (using pvr - thanks to Pascal Bosquet - will offer bilinear filtering option on/off)
Joystick emulation : Kempston/fuller/sinclair1/sinclair2 and cursor ok!
VMS support : not done yet (options and custom keys will be saved on the memory card)

Next week I'll try to emulate sound, enhance speed (still a bit too slow but it's a straight port so no special optimization has been done) and implement VMS support.

Sounds like you have already come a long way :)

Nice to see the GP32 scene and their great coders helping the Dreamcast scene out.

Excellent news!!! You will get the most complete speccy emulator in dreamcast. Thanks for thinking in spectrum fans, and make us happy ;)

I always wonder how the GP32 seems to have so many great and fast emulators when the Dreamcast seems to struggle.

Is it down to coders or is the GP32 easier to work with.

Lets hope this great emu is full speed :)
