Btw, if you have the rom, you can use Daedalus PSP (a Nintendo 64 emulator for PSP) to run Mario Kart 64 partially, but warning: it will NOT run like it does on the N64.

August 14th, 2006, 16:28
That's why we're telling him to use the SNES emu. We don't want him to get his hopes too high for now. The day will come when full (or close to full) speed N64 emulation with no qraphical glitches will come! :D

You download the ROMs you want (use the power of Google ;)) and put them in the ROM folder. Remember they have to be SNES ROMs.

August 14th, 2006, 19:01
it shouldnt be slow. try putting frameskip to "1"

August 14th, 2006, 19:31
u see i really dont knoe where exactly i should put it

August 14th, 2006, 19:33
where you put the ROM or the frameskip. just go to the snes emulators menu and you should see frameskip in the settings area. set that to 1 ;)

Quick question.

How smooth does the latest GBA emulator run MK Super Circuit?

If it runs good, then he should give that one a try as well....After all, it has all new courses and most of the originals are unlockable, too. Sweet Game.

August 14th, 2006, 23:11

August 14th, 2006, 23:50

How smooth does the latest GBA emulator run MK Super Circuit?

i have 2.6, using gta loader....snes and gba both run about the same speed....just a tad too slow for me to comfortably play most games, even with frameskip set to 1 or 2....super mario world works great...B.O.B.....zombies ate my neighbors...some others..but games like mario kart and chrono trigger just arent up to par just yet IMO....

keep in mind this is just for 2.0+ because of lack of kernal/media engine on snes program.

cheers =)

On 1.5, SNES and GBA run great. You should try downgrading kando ;)

August 15th, 2006, 02:41
No this isn't "ISOing", im sure theres a difference between downloading roms and downloading games.

August 15th, 2006, 02:42
The difference is that there are legal ROMs :D

August 15th, 2006, 02:50

there may be hope someday kando. dont ever update ;) at least you have some emulators :)

August 15th, 2006, 03:53
1. no there is no such thing as legally downloading roms
2. the only legal way to play the game is to back it up
3.isoing is different because if you download a iso its from a disk game..

thats why isos are frowned upon they are on recent consoles (psp, ps2 xbox), the only isos people download really with out people absoultly freaking are ps1 games..

PS: eazy-e

we told u not to expect the n64 anywhere near perfect..

download a (Super nintendo) emulator... like in the links
