Hey,

Well i know nothing about the PSP homebrew scene, and havent been that interested until i heard things of N64 on PSP, so i was wondering if someone could give me a quick run-down of how thats going?

Is it playing without lag or crashing?, is there limits on what games?, saves?, does all textures load properly?

If I could play things like Banjo Kazooie flawlessly on PSP i would be very interested in doing so, but i'm guessing something like a N64 on PSP must have alot of problems?

Thanks

Lot Of Games Play Smoothly Around 15-20 FPS, Super MArio 64 For Example Runs At Almost 20 Fps In The Courtyard. Banjo Kazooie Had Some Texture Problems For Me, Got To The Compat List (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=23616) To See What Games Work.

yeh most roms i threw at R7 actually loaded, although it had major graphical errors it loaded when it didn't before(in R6)...mario 64 used to crash every half hour in R6, in R7 NO CRASHING at all for mario 64(i played til i got 18 stars) :D...so to sum it up, Daedalus R7 is AWESOME!!! i think it's the best emu for PSP right now(well for mario 64 atleast)

Yeah, do the grapical errors happen mainly when that tree pixel thing is turned off? it should be okay when its on....

I havnt had much time to test it :p

well to tell u the truth i haven't even messed with the settings much...now u got me wondering if it would make a difference...ok just did it to a few roms with graphical errors, still the same after messing with the settings...also Zion when i say graphical error i mean everything's purple so i guess i meant to say texture error

its probably a bug......the law of averages generally means, you fix one thing and another breaks...happens so many times with coding :D

Mario is at 20 fps in the courtyard, but it can go down while playing (maybe like 10-15 fps?) i havent used Daedalus r7 yet, so I don't really know the improvements :o

lol, the PSP wouldn't be powerful enough to run xbox or xbox360 games. :D

Sure, use PS-Box to run Xbox games (most games run at full-speed) and P-360-P to run 360 games (Only project gotham racing works)

I believe Daedalus needs alot of improvement, especially the speed - I would say Zelda is the bench mark and it runs like crap...

N64 emulation on PSP isnt anything to get interested in....yet....

Eventually it should be pretty good, but as of now its very disapointing...

According to that list only Bust-a-Move and Rampage are working near 100%....

Well, thats ok, I guess, but far from being good overall...

Im impressed that the coders can get N64 emus running at all on PSP, but for pure gameplay they have very far to go yet...
