Could use some help modding a GBA

I'm pretty new here so I say hello to you all. I'm interested in putting a backlit screen or a backlight for my GBA screen (or something along those lines) as well as some kind of rom reading thing.

If anyone has any information or links that would be of great help, thank you in advance.

Frontlight, I guess, I just read that backlighting is impossible for GBA
