I have a ta 082 and psp firmware 2.6 and have used the eloader for about a year know and I am abit tiered of it so i went to games and chosied the memorystick and i tried to load lua player and like every thing but it just says corrupted data but then i tried 0okms umd loader aND IT LOADED OMG THIS IS LIKE IMPOSIBLE BUT IT IS TRUE I AM GOING TO MAKE A VIDEO PRETTY SOON TO SHOW YOU GUYS I AM DEAD SIRIUS same thing i succeful loaded 0okms usb for eloader Work AND IT WORKED TOO I AM SUPPRISED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D :D :D :D :D

Even with the video, it doesn't prove anything. You can load homebrew of 2.71 if your emulating it through Devhook... :rolleyes:

true but maybe he can show us, him booting up the PSP, by power switch or something and then the sce logo will appear. That is the only thing I can think of, that way we know he is not using dev hook. But once that is done, he can go to his system settings and click and show us his firmware. And we will know if he spoofed it because he will not have the web browser, or RSS feeds etc. And then he can go to him game icon and load it for us. But other than that, I don't think there really is any huge advantage in this, but perhaps it will give kernal acess on a more stable level =S

umm i dont believe ookms umd loader can normally be loaded thru devhook as you need to change it in some way as for now and this guy does not sound like he could do that.

hi first of all i would like to say i am not a no0B and i which you could help me. Yesterday i downloaded luaPlayer to my psp but i diddent have any good lua games or apps so i deleted it from the psp but then when i plugged in my psp to the pc and went to psp/games there were a new folder called _DEL_00000000000022370350
ANY ONE KNOW HOW TO DELETE THIS MAP ???:mad:

That means nothing. Just like that whole 2.71 "exploit" that shut off the psp, the screen going black and an error message does not prove that unsigned code was actually run. (Unless of course you're being sarcastic. I couldn't tell)

Edit - I wrote my post while you posted the movie. You weren't being sarcastic. That is not an exploit.

its more progress than i've seen without using gta loader....if this is old news please tell me, but somehow they put a signature into it that tricked the psp into even attempting to run it...

This "hack" has been out for a very long time. Coders now about it already.
