A job advertisement attached to Lionhead Studios is causing us to ponder whether the developer's mysterious Project Dimitri could shortly be unveiled - properly - for the very first time.
According to reports, Lionhead is currently on the look out for a Senior XSI Animator, whose role will include leading and inspiring "the team working on an exciting new title for Xbox 360".
Now, admittedly it's speculation on our part that the 'exciting new title for Xbox 360' is Project Dimitri, but with that being one of two known games Lionhead is working on - the other being Fable 2 - it's highly possible. And, assuming it is Dimitri, dare we take the phrasing of the quote to suggest the title is further into development than we thought. Yes, of course we do.
Here's hoping Dimitri is present at Microsoft's X06 jamboree which takes place at the end of next month.
All we know about Project Dimitri to date is details we scored exclusively from Peter Molyneux in early 2005. At the time, he described a typically ambitious Lionhead venture: "It's a game about... you. It allows anyone who plays the game to relive their life, their entire individual life". Intrigued? So are we.
