View Full Version : Flashing vs the Passkey

I am using the Passkey 1, and what I hear is it is easier to brick my DS that way. Is that true? And would it only get bricked from bad homebrew? I only get my games from this site or from ds.qj.net. (Sometimes I drop the wrong file on and the M3 card loads it but freezes before the game starts...if that has a chance of messing it up)

I don't really want to go through the hassle of flashing the DS if there isn't going to be an issue....but if there is a chance that I could brick it by just putting the wrong d/l file on it, then I will.

Any help, links, or anything would be appriciated....:)

Don't worry, most chances are you wont get it bricked, and no putting the wrong file on there (such as a supercard file on an M3) wont brick it, but if it DOES get bricked, it will brick your entire DS, to my understanding, making it completly useless
