ok i've seen a few homebrew games and would love to create something myself.

I have no programming experience whatsoever (other than a Hello World three liner i did 20 years ago on my C64).

I know nothing about programming.

What's the best language to use? (i've heard C is the one)

Are there any links to tutorials?

http://www.psp-programming.com/tutorials/

And if installing cygwin is a problem, you could maybe start here http://forums.evilmana.com/index.php?topic=6.0

This is a new interest for me as well. I'm guessing that PSP homebrew has led/is leading to a sharp rise in people wanting to learn C/C++.

Not sure I'll actually stick with it myself, though.

Oops! The OP was asking about programming for the DS. Don't know how I missed that.

I know a bit of Java (Took a semister on it last year) and my teacher actually gave away textbooks on how to program C++. If I ever want to get into it I definetly have the matereals.
