You need a passme device. Or did you forget to tell us that.

And the m3 comes with some software that will add them directly to the m3 and it auto patches them.

It's something you put in your DS card slot so that the M3 will boot up in DS mode. things such as a passcard 3, ect

Wow, you went expencive with the m3 and SD card but went cheep as hell with your passme device.

You have to stick a game on it (not sure how, don't own one) for some odd verification reason.

Edit: Wait, Passcard1? Do you mean Passkey1?

Oh that is what i meant by a passcard 3, anyway now that we know you have one....

Have you downloaded the lastest patcher/firmware? also if your running DS Doom the patcher, dont run it through it, just drop the DSDoom things onto the root directory of your card

I'm not an M3 user yet but im hoping to at least know whats wrong if i have a problem when i get it lol

Google M3 wiki and go to the compatibility list.

Here's the list for NDS.

I just ordered my M3 SD Mini and Passcard3; think I'll need a firmware upgrade?

The firmware on the m3 you order is generally 2-3 versions behind (remember, these are sitting around in boxes on shelves for awhile). Besides, you better get comfortable with updating the firmware anyway. =p I've updated mine 5-6 times already, and I bought mine in May. If you want to play the newest games.. get ready to update.

Alright, the site I bought said it was the newest version of the M3 SD Mini, but I shall download the latest firmware anyways.
Thanks for that tip.

Me too, I really need the newest firmware update. Can someone send it to me.

BTW, I've tried the M3 web site, but it doesn't work.

Edit: I went to ds-scene.net and got the new firmware.

Patch it with DLDI. For the easiest method, download and install DLDIrc and then right-click the *.nds file to patch it.
