I'd say the M3 SD/SD Mini and the Passcard 3.
Cheepest, no. You can't have cheep and safe in the same sentance, or atleast not usually. I ordered one and it's scheduled to arrive tommorow (though it entered the main Fedex terminal at 6Am today... ohh well).

The best thing about it for roms is that it has built in NES,SNES,SMS,PCE and some other emulator on it, so all you need to do is just drag the files onto your card i believe. DS and GBA roms need patching, but it takes very little time.

I say the Supercard Lite with a super key and a Micro SD its basically adgar and drop. And it also has built in emus.

C'mon dude, it wasn't too long ago (5 days) that you were asking questions like this.

M3 MiniSD (http://www.hopebuy.com/0001/0403/21704870.htm) and Passcard 3 (http://www.hopebuy.com/0001/0403/21705301.htm) on Hopebuy. You'll have to buy separately, but they're a good site with some of the better prices you'll find.

M3 MiniSD/Passcard 3 combo on Divineo China (http://www.divineo.cn/cgi-bin/div-cn/ds-m3msd2) (also have a US dealer)

Various bundles from Real Hot Stuff (http://www.realhotstuff.com/nintendo-dsgba-adapter-c-1_36.html). They have ones with the M3, a MiniSD card, reader and Passcard 3.

M3 MiniSD/Passcard 3 from Gamersection (http://www.gamersection.ca/product_info.php?cPath=30_36&products_id=229). Good site, but they're kind of pricey.

Just go for the best price. Real hot Stuff's bundle with everything you'll need is very nice, though.

This is all on a regular DS, right? If it's a DS Lite then you have a few more aesthetically pleasing options. (I'll wait for your reply so I don't waste space talking about something you don't need)

Also, check out the homebrew faq (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=27418) if you're still not sure what all of this stuff amounts to.

I would say they should, and why don't you call them? Wouldn't that be easier than driving far?

I know, it was a joke. I use it for all of my friends when they need me to find a program for them.

And besides, I never asked you guys where to get it, I did that work by myself. I just asked what an M3 could do becasue I had my heart set on it.

And if you really want a link noob, I took this deal:

http://www.modchipman.com/m3-mini-sd-1gb-mini-sd-passcard-combo-p-1064.html?osCsid=4b73c9c66c9d32df93d5441f4c585e69

Mine was supposed to be delivered today, it's been waiting in a fedex warehouse 60 miles away from me for a little over a day now, so I hope it gets here soon.

Scratch that, its now sitting in a warehouse 20 miles away as of 3 hours ago.

Here's a pretty good guide to DS homebrew (http://simon.teunvandeberg.nl/nifi/TBGTDSHB.html).

There's also this review (http://www.iso420.org/nds/m3sdm/index.htm).

theres a lot of trial and error to it. most people just figure it out on their own. once you actually get the flash card and passme and play around with it things should clear up a bit.

Also, check out M3's website (http://m3adapter.com/), as they very well may have guides to using their stuff.

you have to transfer roms and homebrew stuff from your computer to the SD card/CF card using a Universal card reader. I'm not sure if it comes bundled with it.

From personal experience trying to use it even with the guides I would avoid buying it for those reasons the only thing I could get it to do even decent was listen to MP3s.
