If the light is still on just take the battery off. Or press and hold the off button.

Uh-oh. It sounds like it's bricked.

Do you have any idea?

If the green light turns on, but the PSP doesn't start up, then it's bricked. :(

You would need a mod chip or Sony to replace the missing files on your PSP's internal flash...

No, they are in your PSP's internal flash memory. Only Sony can do it.... (or a modification chip).

Please give a detailed list of everything you did. It sounds like you may have bricked your system though.

I tried to do the downgrade in my PSP, I used GTA for that, him beginning to do, turned off the screen and it was accessing the card, given her moment stopped accessing the card and it turned off. passed some time I tried to call and she didn't start. the battery was full.

did you use the most recent of the downgraders, or did you use the first one that came out?

So let me get this straight, - you were in the middle of downgrading and the PSP just turned itself off, or you turned it off? If you say you were using GTA to downgrade a 2.xx, then I'm assuming that you were using "The Automatic Downgrader". Did you check to make sure your PSP wasn't a TA-082 Model first? They can't be downgraded (just yet anyway). I'm so sorry, but it sounds to me, that your PSP is probably bricked.:( If it's any consolation you can trade in bricked PSPs at alot of gamestores.;) (GameStop is one). They won't give you as much $$$ as they would for a working one, but at least it's some cash toward your next PSP.:o
