Extracting textures from DC games?

i was wondering if there's any known way to extract textures for characters and such from dreamcast games? IE Cannon Spike and Spawn

Assuming of course you don't mean a copy of a DC game, and you're talking about the GD-ROM disc, you're looking at having to get a coder's cable or broadband adaptor to extract such files. Assuming you've completed that step, the files will (probably) be in .pvr format, for which there's a(n illegal) photoshop plugin floating around as well as a number of to-bmp converters.

what does he mean by textures? and how does he get them from the back up of the game he owns?
