You'll need Devhook to emulate 2.0 or higher if you want to watch AVC videos though. ;)

Ok 2 major problems with pspvideo:

1. when I converted a video 40 mb mpeg to mp4 it became around 200mb  ----------) not good

2. For the third time in a row my laptop shuts down by it self during the converting process

Any suggestions for these 2 problems????????

thx darkest god for tryin to help yesterday
I really apreciate it

Does any one know a converter that convertes to AVC

Why I m asking it s because I tried the the google video like video_freak said and it works great
although it takes a lot of memory but it s all good for that kind of quality

And how good is the quality with pmp videos it s not working on my psp just to know

The reason why it was really large was probably because it was on it's first pass. It does two passes...

If it shtuts down while converting, it may be because you don't have enough CPU power. Make sure you don't run any other applications while converting.

So what I understood from this is that on the first pass it decompresses and then in the second pass it s goin to compress it???????

I just rememberd that I was downloading a couple of videos while I was converting this is the only other app I was runing

Video_freak

Yeah, it converts then compresses. Make sure NOTHING else is running on your computer. This application automatically uses 100% of your CPU (unless you have a super computer or something).

It worked my laptop didn t shut down
But it didn t compress it because I just figured out that in the settings everything was set for best quality
The quality was pretty good but still 150mb for a 20 min video 2 much cuz it was originally 40mb

What video format do u use?????

Video_freak

Go to the convert tab and choose the setting that you want.

When downloading the pre-encoded videos off Google Video, you need a newer firmware/emulated firmware, for they won't work on v1.5, right?

uudem

yes I play them on 2.71 dh
and that s because they are AVC
plus remember that u have to put the video in:
MP_ROOT/100ANV01
and no need to another file (the one that u get when u convert u r videos)

u should really try it. It s fun and easy to use
plus u get great quality

hope this helped
