how to get a custom firmware

how do u get a custom firmware? and how do i disable my network update

all you have to do is install harleygs custom firmware I can upload it for you if you like it has a read me and everything and you can use x flash or something to make your firmware version 9.99 so it will never upgrade.

Edit: I think you can use Xflash to disable your updates aswell its either that or PSPset

im making a tutorial on custom firmware today so check back. x-flash kerrang build 5 will do it, but dont mod your psp until you have custom firmware.

heres the custum firmware read instructions carefully all files are in here just unrar it pif you have any trouble pm or something.

Edit: lol theres a v14 im still on v7 :eek: i need to update more.

every single prx out there ready to use, in a cleaner txt, and autoboot (wlan up is last used firmware, down is 1.5) and bindings

Thats not custom firmware, thats all done with x-flash. You can get custom bootsounds, intros, font etc. I have done all of that to my psp with x-flash, il make a guide soon. Btw check out my custom firmware guide in the cheats and guides forum.

custom firmware is great, but how do you remove it..? revert back to firmware 1.5 not firmware 9.99
