View Full Version : PSPMaster v007b (Master System and Game Gear Emu for PSP)

Trops (http://pspmaster.krnl.net/) has updated his Sega Master System / Game Gear emulator made for the Sony Play Station Portable system.


The emulator uses the old Marat Z80 emulator by Marat Fayzullin. VDP source is based on SMS Plus by Charles Mac Donald. All the source is heavylly optimized for the PSP system.

PSPMaster is running at full speed without frame skiping when the YM2413 sound chip emulation is disabled. Please do not change default options if you don't know what you are doing.

[B]Heres whats new:

User can save and load states from main menu.

Turbo key added.

Fixed a bug that made some Game Gear games reset when user
press start...

So has anybody tried yet? How fast is it we/ sound on? Is this the best gg/master system on the PSP? I'm too busy to test this right now. I'll check back later...

Well in my opinion it is the the fastest and the best emu for master,gamegear system.

try the MMSplus emu for master system and game gear. its definitely the best emu with perfect sound and 60 fps at 222 mhz !!!
btw it has one of the most beautiful G.U.I s

their both really good

Does it support the PSP wide screen at 16x9. Or cant it be played full screen yet.

Yeah this can be played in full screen. Goto options and select render to full.

I'll stick with the old version.
It will play Shining Force 3( translated version)
This version will not even load it.

He totaly change the controls.
:-(

Lunar Strolling school does not work also

Welcome here.
What's your PSP Firmware Version.
It will only work with 1.0 and 1.50.
