Thanks, I tried it on the PC Emu's, partially boots up then says "doom.wad not found" :(, i'm guessing its just the fact its a emu, because its in there.

One thing I'm a bit lost on now, is how texture WAD's work, do you make a WAD to replace the entire doom.wad, or is that left in there and you somehow add the texture .wad to the mix?

Any help is appreciated, also if anyone can help me with the PrBoom compatable WADs?, I keep googling them but cant find anything but regular doom wads, and tbh I have no idea what I'm doing and dont even know what a PrBoom compatable and how to use them :-/

Unfortuantely, dsDoom currently only supports a single IWAD file (contains all data for an entire game), and can't load separate PWAD files (contains partial game data like textures/sprites/sound/maps that replaces data in the main IWAD file).

However, there is a way to get dsDoom to play the content from PWAD files. You need to merge the PWAD and the IWAD into a single IWAD file and rename that to DOOM.WAD, and it should work. I downloaded a couple classic map-pack PWADs and merged them each with a separate copy of the DOOM2.WAD and they're working great.

You can find instuctions on how to do this as well as a link to the utility you need in this thread:

Hey man that has REALLY helped me, thanks a bunch buddy :)

Whats quite cool is on: http://www.doomwadstation.com there is actually a hell of alot of single IWAD files, like 90% of the ones i've downloaded, so people will only have to merge a few, and all the ones that will probably be most popular like Star Wars, Goldeneye are all single IWAD's :)
