Downgrading 2.6 > 1.5 problem

When I'm trying to downgrade my 2.6 firmware, the psp says that the downgrade tester file is damaged. Can anyone help me with this?

You need an unpatched version of GTA. I got a patched version :( HELP!

rent it, it should be unpatched...then u won't need it and u can still use ur patched version thru devhook(to actually play GTA:LCS, not for homebrew cuz u won't need it :D)

Hhm.. yeah. Because when continue the setup and I'm trying to activate the downdate test it says that the file is damaged

How can I recognize in a rental shop that the version is unpatched? It doesn't say anything on the box.

go to the game icon while the game is in the UMD drive and go to the update icon under the icon for GTA and see if it says update to 2.0 if it does ur GTA is unpatched, do u have the eloader installed and is it the super bock version?

actualy make sure you don't have a ta-082 before going a d downgrading, you will thhen end up with a nice brick.

get the e-loader from the main page on the left and look for "run homebew via e-loader on psp 2.01,2.50,2.60" or something like that.

Did all that. But when i load the saved file (Eloader) the game starts and nothing is happening

ok good, that mean u can downgrade...ok now where r u putting the eloader files and did u get the auto-install version?

No. got a zip file. I copied the data on the PSP root

Still the same problem. The game contiunes after loading the file. Eloader doesn't start. Has this something to do with the unpatched version?

ok u did the eloader right? if so open the downgrader file u d/l'ed before and put the DOWNDATER folder in the root of ur MS, and the DOWNDATERTEST(in the 2.6 folder) in the GAME folder is inside the PSP folder

let me know when u did that

HOME>GAME>MEMORY STICK> I see damaged files
