Can PSP run app's from memory stick?

Hi!

Can anyone tell me if the PSP can directly run an application or game directly from the memory stick? Is there an option in the PSP system menu to run a file?

The good news:
Yes.

The bad news:
There is an incomplete network update out there that you can download.
It will ruin your PSP. (you will have to send it back to SONY and pay to have it restored).

So this is very exiting and a little dangerous already. You have been warned.

Yeah what was said is true. They are releasing a finished version of that incomplete network update soon. The capabilities of this system are endless since its basically a PC. Once the software can be manipulated successfully anything is possible.
