I've just downgraded from 2.71>1.50. Great. Now what? i've always heard about great things to do with the 1.50 such as running umd games (yes, the ones I own) on my psp from the memory stick (so i don't have to carry around 10 umd's). But exactly how do i go about that?

I also want to run some kind of internet browser (like the 2.00+ fw has) and have been wanting to play FFVII for PSone on it.

I also want to run nes/snses/gba/ps1 emulators

Can anyone help?

more exaclty, i don't know what i need to do this, and exactly what files to install where!

I really want to know what's so great about 1.50, everyone's talking about it. i figured i'd give it a try

We can't tell you how to use ISO's since it's against the rules. And there isn't a working PS1 emulator yet. But the best snes emulator is SnesTYL 4.2 me. Nes- Nester J. GBA- gPSP. Download them all here psp-news.dcemu.co.uk/ (left hand bar). And to run them stick them both folders in your PSP/GAME folder.

ok, thanks for clearing up that there's no psone emulator.

now, i downloaded the emulators you recomended, but how do i load the roms? where was I supposed to place the roms?

i also forgot to ask this very important question: since we can't talk about using iso's, is there some way to play 2.00+ UMD games on the fw1.50?

also, cooe14, do you think you can email me at [email protected] ?

yes, devhook is a 1.5 owners best friend.Other than the slew of great homebrew we have.IRSHELL, wifi sniffer and Lua Player are also invaluable.

Right on,I shouldn't have left those out.I usually don't reccommend apps that flash to the noobs but since you brought it up,let's not forget custom firmware.

1.5 has been out, it was one of the first firmwares for the psp, and it is also the most popular for homebrew. With the release of the new downgrader, many people are just being introduced to this firmware, causing new 1.5 users to bring up the inevitable question: "What can I do with my 1.5?"
The Answer: Just about anything:D
