Ive read on the Net that sony will be using the usb functions of the PSP to load demos onto the PSP, this begs the question about the possibility of homebrew on the PSP and also with the flash drives we have now, we could see some great emulators that way.

Well if you look closely at the TGS movie introducing the functionality of PSP you will notice the BIOS. The user using it moves from Music which gave the options Memory Stick; Video which gave the options Memory Stick; and when the user scrolls to games it shows this:

It shows UMD, Memory Stick and something else. PSP uses Memory Stick Duo Pro (Magic Gate) which has sizes from 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB, 256 MB, 512 MB and 1024 MB. I hope this means the possibility of EASY homebrew for PSP. Seeing a NES, SNES, etc for PSP would be amazing.

I am hopeful for the future ;D
