View Full Version : How to detect TA-082 PSP Motherboard

this has prolly been asked but sorry for asking is there a way by looking at the bob to determin if the motherboard is a ta-082 or not cuz i need to exchange my psp again cuz of the dead pixles in my screen and i wanna downgrade it but cant unless its not a ta-082

i know that but its good to see it alot of times to that way i know what mine is now but is there a way by looking at the box

i doubt it, but you can maybe check the date it was made if the box has that or maybe ask the clerk when it was sent to them and that should help a bit i hope.

If it's older it might not be a TA-082

I have TA-082 written on the inside of my UMD tray but I have managed to get Dark Alex's latest firmware going and all the lovely tricks it gives you access too.

However, the firmware it came with was 1.5. I am thinking that the shop downgraded it manually or somehting...

With the release of the 3.03 downgrader i was thinking that stores might try to downgrade the psps and release them on the market as 1.5

If the letter shown under the voltage is L or higher, you have a TA-086. If it's K or lower, it's a TA-082.
