PSP RPG Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix has debuted at number one in the weekly Japanese sales charts.

According to Andriasang's report, the latest entry in the Square Enix/Disney mash-up saga sold 77,317 to claim the top spot and unseat the hugely successful Monster Hunter Freedom 3. Capcom's beast battler has now sold a whopping 4,094,939 in Japan.

Here's how the full top 10 shaped up:

On the hardware side, the PSP beat out big brother PlayStation 3, shifting 35,636 units. After years of chart domination, it finally seems that the DS is on the slide, with its successor now on the not too distant horizon.
